From Gourmet Burgers to Caribbean Heat: T.O. Food & Drink Fest Promises a Wild Weekend

T.O. Food & Drink Fest returns April 11–13 with a packed lineup of eats, sips, and surprises.

It’s the kind of weekend where skipping breakfast isn’t just smart—it’s strategy. T.O. Food & Drink Fest is rolling into the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from April 11–13, 2025, and it’s coming in hot. Think live chef demos, hands-on cocktail lessons, global wine tastings, and enough food truck snacks to make your jeans beg for mercy.

This isn’t just any foodie event—it’s Toronto’s loudest, tastiest, most unapologetically indulgent weekend of the year.

🍴 Star Chefs Go Live on the Chef’s Stage

No cameras. No filters. Just flames, flavor, and a lot of personality.

The Chef’s Stage is where top culinary names throw down, showing off dishes that could make your takeout cry. This year’s star-studded lineup includes Caribbean sensations Noel Cunningham and Tre Sanderson (courtesy of Sunwing Vacations and Jamaica), Louisiana’s own Cody and Samantha Carroll, and seafood master Matt Dean Pettit.

Also stepping up: Andrea Buckett, cheese expert Afrim Pristine, Toronto favorite Devan Rajkumar, and celebrity chefs Raquel Fox and Javon Cummins. Bring a notepad—or just try to stop drooling.

🍸 Cocktails You’ll Actually Want to Make at Home

If you’ve ever googled “easy mojito recipe” and ended up with a kitchen disaster, these mixology classes are for you.

Top bartenders will walk you through how to shake, stir, and serve drinks that go beyond the basics. Whether you’re a fan of classic cocktails or you’re into drinks that look like art, this is the place to get your pour game together.

🍷 World-Class Wine Without Leaving Town

Forget wine snobbery. This is about taste, plain and simple.

At the “Wines of the World” experience, you can sip, sample, and talk directly with winemakers pouring their best bottles. From full-bodied reds to crisp whites, the selection spans the globe. Bonus: no passport needed.

🚚 Food Trucks Bring the Street Heat

Presented by Food Truck Canada, Flavour Street is where your diet gives up entirely. Think sliders, loaded fries, Korean fusion, tacos, poutine, and a rotating lineup of jaw-dropping dishes.

Want to know what it’s like behind the grill? You can step into a working food truck setup and get a feel for running the show.

🎶 Dance, Sip, Repeat

On Friday and Saturday night, the vibe shifts from snacks to spins. DJs take the stage, the drinks start flowing, and the “Sips n’ Spurs” dance party kicks off. Yes, it’s Western-themed. Yes, cowboy boots are encouraged. No, line dancing experience required.
